Increase your home value with simple upgrades
Want to get the most out of your home refinance? Here are a few simple upgrades that will increase the value of your home without breaking your budget.
1.
Replace your front door. The front door is an easy way to show off your style while also maintaining your home’s curb appeal. Consider giving your door a fresh coat of paint as an easy update. If you aren’t happy with your door, look into other options to replace it. If you have security in mind, maybe consider a wrought iron door. If you want a more aesthetic door, a glass door could be the way to go.
2.
Bathroom updates. Replacing a toilet can be a great way to easily update the bathroom and keep things looking new and clean. Also consider re-glazing the bathtub to fix those stubborn fade marks. Re-glazing a bathtub is a great fix because it makes your bathtub look new but doesn’t cost you the same amount as a new bathtub. Lastly in the bathroom, installing a tile floor could be a great option to upgrade the space. Tile floors are a good choice to have in your bathroom because they are easy to clean and don’t wear out easily.

3.
Update fixtures. Whether its cabinet handles, sink faucets, or light fixtures, all of these upgrades are a fast and easy change. Consider some modern options that could make everyday functions easier. Cabinet handles that allow you to open doors easily are a cheap and effortless upgrade. Consider sink faucets with motion technology for in the kitchen and bathroom. For light fixtures, consider what types of lights would be best for specific rooms (bedrooms with light/ceiling fan combinations, living rooms with recessed lighting).
4.
Install beneficial technology. Programmable thermostats are a nice option to include in your home that will allow you to take control of your home’s temperature and save you on monthly energy costs. Install a water filtration system to increase your home’s value and benefit your family by removing harmful chemicals and pollutants in drinking water. Install window blinds with smart technology that can keep out light and heat when it isn’t wanted.
